I was reading something else about this on another blog. Interesting. Your linear perspective on it is diametrically contradicted to what I read originally. I am still mulling over the different points of view, but I’m leaning heavily toward yours. And regardless, that’s what is so superb about modern-day democracy and the marketplace of thoughts on-line.

Can I make subdirectories in my Web directory? No, because of limitations in the FreePort software you can’t create subdirectories in your public_html subdirectory. So all your Web files will have to go in that one directory. No, generally speaking. But if you can contribute something useful as a volunteer that requires shell access to do it, please ask. http://www.melbal.com

As energy prices sky rocket the prices of solar panels will only go up. This will hopefully prove that solar panels will be a great investment for anyone wanting to save some money or help the environment. Either way, solar panels really should be at the top of the “to do” list. Someone has recommended Solar Panels so I am really looking forward to getting them.

Between me and my husband we’ve owned more MP3 players over the years than I can count, including Sansas, iRivers, iPods (classic & touch), the Ibiza Rhapsody, etc. But, the last few years I’ve settled down to one line of players. Why? Because I was happy to discover how well-designed and fun to use the underappreciated (and widely mocked) Zunes are.
May 19th, 2010 at 4:11 am
If you’re still on the fence: grab your favorite earphones, head down to a Best Buy and ask to plug them into a Zune then an iPod and see which one sounds better to you, and which interface makes you smile more. Then you’ll know which is right for you.
May 19th, 2010 at 4:19 am
Sorry for the huge review, but I’m really loving the new Zune, and hope this, as well as the excellent reviews some other people have written, will help you decide if it’s the right choice for you.
May 19th, 2010 at 4:43 am
Hands down, Apple’s app store wins by a mile. It’s a huge selection of all sorts of apps vs a rather sad selection of a handful for Zune. Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but I’m not sure I’d want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.
